2. Data Protection Policy
The personal data collected through this platform will be processed by DenglishLab for the purpose of managing the contractual relationship, providing access to online courses, issuing invoices, sending informational communications, and complying with legal obligations.
The legal basis for data processing is your consent and the execution of the service provision contract. Your data will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law. You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection, restriction of processing, and portability by submitting a written request to the email address vinyetventura@denglishlab.com or info@denglishlab.com, accompanied by a copy of an identification document.
3. Types of Courses and Enrollment Process
Available Modalities:
- Self-Learning Courses: Asynchronous training with access to recorded materials. Access is immediate after payment confirmation.
- Live Online Courses: Synchronous training delivered in real time. Links and materials are provided after enrollment is completed.
Enrollment Process:
- Course selection.
- Completion of the registration form.
- Payment:
- For already registered students, via a secure payment gateway.
- For new students, after paying for the course, the enrollment fee must be paid via bank transfer. Access to the course will be granted once payment is confirmed.
- Confirmation via email with access to the corresponding content.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
a) Individual/Duo Classes
You may cancel an individual or duo class up to 24 hours before the scheduled time to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund.
b) Courses (Self-Learning and Live)
A full refund will be granted if you cancel within 5 days of purchase and have not accessed more than 25% of the course content. If you have accessed more than 25% of the content or more than 5 days have passed since the purchase, no refund will be issued.
c) Exceptions
In the case of duly justified exceptional circumstances, we invite you to contact us to explore alternative solutions, such as rescheduling the class, transferring your enrollment to another person, or receiving a credit for future purchases.
Cancellation or refund requests must be sent to vinyetventura@denglishlab.com and include the purchase details. If approved, the refund will be processed within a maximum of 14 calendar days, using the same payment method originally used.
5. Account Use, Security, and Intellectual Property
Access to courses is through a personal, unique, and non-transferable account. All content in our courses is protected by Intellectual Property Law (Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996, of April 12), and its use is strictly limited to the student who purchased it.
The following are expressly prohibited:
- Sharing your access credentials with third parties.
- Transferring or reselling access to third parties.
- Reproducing, copying, distributing, publicly communicating, or making the content available without written authorization from the rights holder.
Sharing your account or any attempt to copy or distribute the content without authorization will constitute a serious violation, resulting in immediate and permanent suspension of access without the right to a refund, as well as legal action in accordance with current intellectual property legislation.
6. Adjustments to the Duration of Live Online Classes
DenglishLab reserves the right to adjust the duration of live classes based on the number of enrolled students, with the aim of maintaining quality and individualized attention:
- Less than 25% of the minimum expected: duration reduced by 50%.
- Between 25% and 50%: duration reduced by 30%.
- More than 50%: full duration.
These changes will be communicated in advance via email. The reduction in time will not affect the course content.
7. Course Cancellation by the Company
We reserve the right to cancel any course for administrative, technical, or academic reasons that prevent its proper execution. This clause is framed within the freedom of contractual agreements provided in the Civil Code (Articles 1255 and following), which allows us, as a company, to ensure the viability and quality of the service offered. In the event of cancellation, enrolled students will be notified and refunded the full amount paid, without any additional compensation.
8. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
The relationship between DenglishLab and the user shall be governed by current Spanish law. For the resolution of any dispute, both parties submit to the Courts and Tribunals of the company’s registered address, unless the law establishes a different jurisdiction.
