And… where does the name DenglishLab come from?

DenglishLab is a compound word that unites two languages: Deutsch (German) and English (English), the two main and most in-demand languages at our online academy. Furthermore, these are two of the most important languages in a globalized and digitized world like today’s. However, that doesn’t mean that at our academy we limit ourselves only to these languages. We have a team of highly qualified and experienced language teachers, so we also offer other languages such as French, Catalan, and Spanish for foreigners.
And why “Lab”? Because the word Lab perfectly describes our online space: a laboratory for practical experimentation and active learning for our students. At DenglishLab, we don’t just study languages theoretically, but we also provide opportunities for practice and experimentation. Our students apply learned grammar and vocabulary through role-playing and real-life situations, which allows them to experience the language actively and practically. And the fact that classes are online is not an impediment to this.
Furthermore, at DenglishLab, we firmly believe that learning a language is not limited only to grammar and vocabulary. We consider it fundamental for students to also know the cultural aspects of the language: traditions, dialects, festivities, gastronomy, and many other elements that help to better understand how the language is used and how the culture of its native speakers is communicated.
